Whoa! Anderson Cooper asked Ted Cruz and his wife Heidi what was on every voters’ mind during the New York town hall on April 13. We were dying to know how Heidi felt about Donald Trump’s brutal Twitter attack, and she did not hold back! Here’s what she said about the issue.
We already knew that Ted Cruz, 45, is not a Donald Trump, 69, fan. However, Heidi Cruz had her own response for the Republican front runner! He mocked her on Twitter, and her classy, cool reaction was perfect. She says his antics are just pure “silliness,” and we can’t help but agree. Check it out, right here.
Heidi is completely over Donald’s mean retweet on Twitter. He shared an unflattering photo of her compared to a sexy shot of Melania Trump with the caption “No Need To ‘Spill The Beans’…The Images Are Worth A Thousand Words”! So mean! Clearly Heidi was classy and cool about it, and she slammed Donald for it at the New York town hall on April 13 in the best way possible.
Heidi says that Donald’s campaign has been focused on bullying and controversy, but that isn’t what the people want. “Focusing on our constitutional liberty, freedom, that is what defines being American, that’s what makes people proud,” explained Heidi at the town hall. “Not silliness that people don’t care about. It’s freedom. It’s freedom that people identify with.” You go, girl!
That’s not the only way Donald had allegedly disrespected the Cruz family. Ted blames Donald for the appalling cheating rumors in the National Enquirer, and he explained at the town hall that “personal attacks have no place in politics.” He says that he would never attack Donald’s family in the same way, saying “Melania Trump is a beautiful woman, good mother… I would never say anything remotely negative.”
