Megan Fox debuted her baby bump on the red carpet April 11 at CinemaCon and during an interview she revealed she runs a pretty tight ship at home! The mom-to-be talked about her strict no TV parenting policy for her two sons, Noah, 3, and Bodhi, 2, and said they don’t even know she’s a famous actress!
Megan Fox is doing her absolute best to shield her sons, Noah, 3, and Bodhi, 2, from Hollywood. But the 29-year-old has taken it a step further than just not telling them she and Brian Austin Green are famous, granted they are a bit too young to even understand what that means, but she doesn’t allow them to play with iPads or watch TV at home.
“I try to keep them from television and movies for the most part,” Megan told E!. “Because I think screen time, any sort of screen whether it’s television, iPad or iPhone is really bad for the brain development so I try to remove that from their lives. Also, I want to deter them from ever being apart of social media because I think that it’s detrimental to a child’s self-esteem. I have lots of opinions on this. I do let them watch Pixar movies every once in a while when they come out, we do stuff like that or watch Peter Pan together as a family but they have no idea what I do.” Wait, so they have no idea their mom is famous actress? “Nope, I mean someone at their school will tell them eventually but then it won’t mean anything because they’ve been around it their whole lives. Like, okay … I’m still embaraased of my mom.
Meanwhile, Megan is set to turn 30 on May 16 and she said that she’s not planning on celebrating: “I’m not very ceremonious. Even with my own kids, until they ask me for birthday parties, we don’t do big birthday parties. I just don’t care,” she said. “It’s just a day. I’m practically already 30, what’s the difference? It’s like a month away. What really changes? As long as everything is holding up well, then I don’t care how old I am … By everything, I meant mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically.”
