Carrie Underwood’s ‘American Idol’ finale dresses were totally on point, as the hot mama, (and former ‘Idol’ winner!), rocked not one but two sexy, sheer gowns — and we loved them both! Which get-up did you love?
Carrie Underwood, 33, recently underwent an edgy, glam makeover — and we’re all about it! Not only did she leave her signature curls behind in favor of a sleek and straight bob, but she also embraced sexier, more daring dresses. She continued to show off her sultry new style as she stepped out for the grand American Idol finale. The country crooner stepped out to bid farewell to the show, which proved to be quite emotional — especially because that’s where she got her start! She arrived at the Dolby Theater on April 7 in Hollywood in a stunning sheer gown by Yanina Couture, which featured a plunging neckline — and that wasn’t the only amazing look she showed off!
While Carrie’s style definitely seems edgier these days, she still hasn’t lost sight of the feminine flair that she usually gravitates towards — and we love the way the two looks intertwined! Case in point? While her frock for the red carpet was sheer and plunging, the detailing added a feminine twist to the look — and it was also evident with her performance get-up.
Carrie took the stage in a stunning, baby blue Monique Lhuillier ensemble which featured a sheer skirt, putting her insanely toned legs on full display. Again, while this look definitely had a more edgy vibe for the country crooner, the pastel hue kept it girly and sweet.
It seems like every day another stylish star steps out in sheer — and although the trend is quite daring, it doesn’t mean you can’t try to recreate the look at home! If you want to get the look, SHOP for a frock with a sheer skirt HERE.
The songstress also switched up her style in an edgy black mini dress!
Her third dress, a beautiful blue gown, served up serious spring vibes, and it’s quickly becoming one of our favorite looks from the star. Do you agree? Which dress did you like better on Carrie? Check out both of her sheer ensembles and VOTE and let us know.
