This is so touching! Paris Jackson, the daughter of Michael Jackson, celebrated her 18th birthday by getting a thoughtful tattoo in honor of her late father. And seriously, her new ink is SUCH a perfect way to remember her dad. Check out her loving tribute here!
Talk about leaving a mark! Paris Jackson, 18, honored her father, Michael Jackson, in a HUGE way on her 18th birthday. Paris received super sentimental ink that represents the late King of Pop and couldn’t help showing off the touching creation via social media on April 5. “He Was the King of My Heart,” she wrote — aw!
“Queen of My Heart” in his handwriting. To everyone else he was the King of Pop. To me, well, he was the king of my heart. Thank you @dermagraphink, you’re a legend. She ended up receiving a wrist tattoo with of the words “Queen of My Heart” scribbled in Michael’s handwriting. How beautiful is THAT?
The King of Pop’s only daughter received her moving tattoo at Timeless Tattoo 738 in Los Angeles. Artist Justin Lewis executed the specific design while Paris was accompanied by her cousin, Austin Brown. Justin posted his own photo of Paris and her new ink, saying, “Paris Michael Jackson got her tattoo today, letters from her father, so sweet.” And we have to agree, what a brilliant way to pay homage to such an important person in her life!
This upcoming June will mark the seventh anniversary since Michael’s death. The iconic singer tragically passed away on June 25 from a propofol overdose — he was only 50 years old. Although he left behind three children, Paris is his only daughter. She has a 19-year-old brother, Michael Joseph Jackson Jr., and 14-year-old brother, Prince Michael “Blanket” Jackson II.
Three years after her father’s death, Paris, then 14, tweeted she wanted to get a tattoo in her father’s memory, according to PEOPLE magazine. “I kinda want to get August XXIX tatted on my back.” Michael was born on Aug. 29, 1958. And while that is sweet as well, we think her final decision is even more heartfelt and impactful. She wears her father’s writing so well!
What do you think of Paris’ tattoo, HollywoodLifers? Do you love the meaning behind it?
