The girls get together to help Sierra with a close friend’s baby shower. In true Duggar fashion it’s no easy task. Joy steps up and proves she is the next great party planner of the family. On the day of the shower, the other Duggar girls step in to lend a helping hand, because there’s not much time to spare. Joy handles the stress like a pro and coordinates the entire event while Sierra and Jessa handle the guest of honor, Kristen. Thankfully, it all came together and the surprise was a huge hit.

Then there’s Jana who is back to building the big treehouse for the younger kids. Joseph, Josiah and John have decided to made a grand treehouse instead of the smaller initial project they had set out to build. Thankfully they have a lot of help. Anna takes the older girls thrift shopping to decorate the kids’ treehouse. They all get a bit distracted and wind up looking at clothes and other goods that have nothing to do with the big project. They wind up leaving with used kitchen appliances and cookware — the perfect tools for the outdoor kitchen!

Meanwhile, in Central America — Jim Bob and Michelle decide to surprise Jill and Derick Dillard. All five of them, including baby Israel, wind up bringing food to a local village to meet with the natives. It’s still weird not seeing Jill on the show that much and her absence continues to leave a mark on the rest of the family.
