Tim McGraw moved the crowd at the 2016 Academy of County Music Awards with his brand new single ‘Humble and Kind.’ The inspirational song and performance showed what he hopes the future holds for our next generations. Awww!
Gotta love Tim McGraw, 48! Not only did he blow us away at the ACM Awards with his gorgeous new song “Humble and Kind,” he truly made it all about his fans and their hopes and dreams for the future. With their help, it made the live debut of his new tune even more impactful with their onstage presence about what the song’s title represents to them.
OMG, SO moving! The members of the audience at the MGM Grand Garden set the mood with their own hand-held lighters as the arena went dark to showcase Tim, as sat on a stool in the middle of the audience singing the heartfelt lyrics. You could just taste the emotion in the arena, as he poured his heart into the moving message, wearing his usual black cowboy hat.
He was later joined by a stream of fans from all walks of life as they poured in to the area, and he joined them as they all took their place on the main stage as Tim kept belting out the song. Everyone from children to teens to the elderly, nurses, soldiers, even someone dressed in a Muslim robe were included as Tim made sure all races, religions and ages were represented. It was an amazing message of inclusion and togetherness. Stream Tim’s music, completely unlimited and ad-free, RIGHT HERE.

For two weeks in March, Tim asked fans to submit photos holding signs with words that represent what the notion of “humble and kind” meant to them. Fans were able to send them in via Facebook and Instagram, and Tim helped select the images that were featured on the screen near the end of his live performance. Even his pal Reese Witherspoon, 40, participated, showing off her contribution via her Instagram, holding up the word, “Grace.”
“Big shout out to my friends at the @acmawards tonight! ✨@thetimmcgraw asked me to make a sign of what “Humble and Kind” means to me. Here goes! #HumbleAndKind #ACMs#Grace.” It’s so cool Tim has even celebrity friends want to help get his song’s message out.
