What a breathtaking performance! Country breakout star Cam took the ACM Award stage to sing an acoustic rendition of her hit ‘Burning House,’ and she completely blew us away with her incredible vocals. Watch a clip of the performance here!
Now that’s a way to make a debut! Cam, a 31-year-old singer who burst onto the country music scene in 2015, made her first ACM Awards appearance by performing her single “Burning House” — and she totally nailed it! Between beautiful vocals and a gorgeous dress to match, Cam could’ve fooled any country music star that she’s a veteran to the business!
Cam’s stage presence and vocals were as haunting as the setting, with smoke filling the stage around her as she belted out her tune. She also looked amazing, donning a pretty black lace and yellow dress while letting her curly locks bounce freely on her shoulders. It was hard to not get goosebumps from that kind of performance!
Along with Cam’s first-time ACM performance, she also got to celebrate four nominations at this year’s awards. Cam was one of the four lucky ladies to be nominated for New Female Vocalist, and “Burning House” was up for Video of the Year and Single Record of the Year (she’s nominated twice in this category, as an artist and producer). Needless to say, Cam’s first ACM experience was definitely an amazing one — no wonder she gave such a powerful performance!
Considering the company she had at the awards, though, it’s not super surprising that she brought her A-game for her performance. Her fellow performers include Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, and Luke Bryan, so how could Cam not want to blow everyone away? Even with such huge names around her, Cam managed to make quite a great first ACM impression!
