Leave it to Blake Shelton to rock the house down at the ACMs! Gwen Stefani’s man gave a crazy good performance of ‘Came Here To Forget’, and the audience was totally into it! What a night!
Blake Shelton, 39, was truly one of the highlights of the night at the American Country Music awards on April 3, and the night had barely begun. Leading the show with an incredibly moving performance of “Came Here To Forget”, Blake made this an awards show to remember!
Blake performed a truly beautiful and soulful rendition of his new hit, “Came Here To Forget,” his song inspired by girlfriend Gwen Stefani, 46. Dressed up in a suit, and backed by a dark, glowing background, the effect was positively haunting. For a serious song, you go with a serious set!
That wasn’t his only appearance — and this was in the first 10 minutes of the show! Blake made an unexpected edition to host Luke Bryan‘s raucous performance of his new single, “Huntin’, Fishin’ & Lovin’ Every Day”, at the top of the show, rocking out with all his might on the guitar. Damn, he’s versatile!
His girlfriend, who also happens to be his gorgeous co-judge on The Voice, must have been surprised by his touching performance! The couple have had quite the busy season on The Voice, made even busier by the fact that they’ve both released new music — inspired by each other!
They’ve totally been distracted by that thrill of new love at their jobs; not good, guys! But it’s adorable. In an outtake of their coach/advisor session on The Voice on March 22, the two spend the whole damn time flirting! Gwen even calls Blake a “super babe”! We’re sure that she finds him even dreamier after that insane performance at the ACMs!
