And the healing process begins. Kehlani is home from the hospital after her suicide attempt on March 29, and she sent an inspiring message to fans to thank them for their support upon her release. Read her latest statement on rumors she cheated on Kyrie Irving with PARTYNEXTDOOR here.
Kehlani, 20, is ready for life to get back to normal. Now that Kyrie Irving has set things straight about the singer’s alleged cheating, she’s surrounding herself with people who love her while recovering from a hospital visit and suicide attempt. See what she had to say about the situation here.
“Healthy, home and with people who love me,” Kehlani wrote, then deleted, on Instagram. “Everyone’s fighting things people know nothing about.” The 20-year-old previously admitted to attempting suicide after receiving backlash over rumors she cheated on Kyrie with ex, PARTYNEXTDOOR.
It all started when PND shared a photo of him and Kehlani holding hands in bed, leading to speculation that she was being unfaithful. The “You Should Be Here” singer denied allegations that she cheated, and after 24 hours of drama, Kyrie finally addressed the situation, and confirmed that he and Kehlani were broken up when the picture was taken.
“It’s been hard to see what’s been going on and not address the truth,” he tweeted March 30. “I do not justify the picture of what dude did to try and spark all of this non sense that could have been avoided, but Me and Kehlani were not dating when the picture came out. It’s unfortunate that it’s received so much attention but its become bigger because of a post that was misunderstood. Nothing but love and compassion over this way for her and her family.”
But while Kehlani and Nick are over, things seem to be on good terms with her and PND — he was by her hospital bedside when she checked in, and she thanked him for “saving her life” in a sweet Instagram post, which she’s since deleted. We just hope she’s doing better and surrounding herself with positive and uplifting people after this whole ordeal!
HollywoodLifers, do you think it’s safe for Kehlani to be home? Or should she be getting more help?
