In an EXCLUSIVE interview with HollywoodLife.com, creator Robert Kirkman gushed over how ‘insane’ the upcoming ‘Walking Dead’ finale will be — and how it’s all setting up for what’s to come in season 7.
Robert Kirkman, 37, is more excited for The Walking Dead‘s season six finale than anyone else. But, when he spoke EXCLUSIVELY to HollywoodLife.com, he revealed that there is a whole lot more to be excited about when season seven begins. Whoa!
“It’s going to be insane,” Robert Kirkman told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY on Tuesday night, March 29, in Los Angeles, Calif. Obviously he was talking about The Walking Dead‘s highly anticipated season six finale, which is set to air on April 3. But, that’s not all he had to say!
While everyone is wondering about the finale, Robert was willing to chat about where it’s eventually going to take us. “I don’t know I think we are getting to the cool stuff! Everything in season six sets up all the insane stuff that will happen in season seven,” he shared with HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. Hmm!
“I think that the show is changing and evolving at such a rapid pace now that it is getting really exciting for me,” Robert continued. “It is unique for a show to get to the good stuff in the sixth and seventh season and I feel like that is what we are doing! And I am excited about that!”
Wait, how is it possible that after everything the show has been through — Hershel’s farm, the prison, losing people like Beth, etc. — that what’s to come could be considered the “good stuff”? Geez, Kirkman!
Of course, it’s no secret that The Walking Dead has been headed to ridiculous heights as it’s sixth season comes to an end. To see all of the different ways the cast and crew has described the finale, check out HollywoodLife.com‘s round-up!
