Absolutely speechless. We're still trying to recover from the Mar. 29 episode of 'Shadowhunters', and the Malec obsession is on another level. Magnus decides he needs to crash Alec's wedding to Lydia if he wants the chance to be with him, and Alec's response is shocking! Here's what went down. I'm not crying I just have something in my eye! All of the Malec business on Shadowhunters was really too much for us on Mar. 29. The dashing shadowhunter and the edgy warlock with an undeniable attraction to each other reached a climax when Magnus (Harry Shum Jr.) crashed Alec's (Matthew Daddario) wedding to Lydia (Stephanie Bennett), and you'll never believe how he reacted. Guys, we’re not okay. The Mar. 29 was way too much for Malec shippers like us to handle, emotionally. Alec was all prepared to marry Lydia. Heck, she was poised to draw a commitment rune on his hand just before Magnus burst into the room. Believe it or not, Lydia actually encouraged Alec to go to him, which he did. He romantically stalked toward him in the room full of people and passionately kissed him in front of everyone! That’s when we melted into a puddle of tears.

It was even more meaningful because in this episode, we got to know more about why Magnus is the way he is when he, Clary, and Jace go to visit his old friend Ragner to get the potion to wake up Clary’s mom. Unfortunately, Ragner gets killed by a demon that clearly found them thanks to a spy in the Institute. While Magnus is thinking back on his friendship, we see that he hasn’t loved anyone since Camille, who royally screwed him up.

Unfortunately, Camille is also the only one who can help them wake Clary’s mom now that Ragner’s dead. They need to find something called the book of white, and they figure out it belongs to her. Meanwhile, we find out who the true mole is when Hodge knocks Lydia unconscious and steals the cup, then meets with Valentine to discuss trading it with him for removal of his punishment rune. Oh no!

A few more things that are good to know: Jace is having a hard time with his feelings for Clary now that he knows she’s his sister, Clary gives him the box her mom had from her brother, Simon is clearly trying to win Clary over, Alec’s parents are mad about the wedding (though his dad is a little cooler), and Luke is still desperate to have Jocelyn back.
