Joey Fatone isn’t worried about Justin Bieber. The actor/singer tells HollywoodLife.com that everyone needs to just back off when it comes to judging Justin because it’s hard enough to grow up in the spotlight.
“You know the childish antics he did,” he told us. “It’s him growing up, but on another level since he’s in the public eye. I think he’s growing up and learning now. As you get older, you define yourself.” Joey tells us that when he was in N’Sync, that it wasn’t always easy having the world watch your every move. “I would describe it as our college years. I graduated from high school then was with NSYNC. We loved what we did, we loved to perform. It didn’t matter where we were. Everyone had the love and the passion for it. We kept everyone in check, every once in awhile we would get a high head, but the boss was us. If someone did something wrong, we could fire them. So everyone was kind of on eggshells, but we didn’t think that way. We weren’t that type of boss. Because they were older than us we didn’t think of them as an employee.”
Thank goodness we did not have social media. It’s an invasion of people’s privacy. I’m working on this promotion right now in NYC. I didn’t tell anyone but the moment someone saw me my friends were mad I didn’t tell them. Like I’m sorry I’m busy, I’m working.
HollywoodLifers, do you agree with Joey’s advice for Justin?
