It looks like Nyle is about to lead the pack again this week. In a new video, we get a look at Peta’s incredible way that she’s teaching her partner the Viennese Waltz for this week’s ‘Dancing with the Stars.’
Nyle DiMarco stole our hearts on the season 22 premiere of Dancing with the Stars and now partner Peta Murgatroyd is showing just how she helps him to feel the tempo, without hearing. It’s quite incredible. Watch this rehearsal video of the pair practicing the Viennese Waltz.
“It was actually a little challenging for me getting Nyle to feel the tempo of the music and now I’m tapping on his shoulder,” Peta explained via the video posted on TMZ. For the Viennese Waltz it was 1,2,3, 1,2,3 go. So he felt six taps and he went. I’m guessing I’m going to have to do that with most of the start of our dances, and I’ll just give him either a visual cue like a nod to go or I’m gonna have to tap him on the back. But today it was the temp o that i needed him to feel.”
We have to say, he looks like he’s nailing it. The judges agree that he can definitely dance and past dancer Gilles Marini, recently told us that he’s totally on Team Nyle, too!
“I wish Peta does very well because she is with someone from the deaf community,” he told us. Hopefully he can move and he can smile because imagine if you are not hearing anything and you have to dance to something — it is all physical and if he does that then he is a genius, I can’t wait to see him dance!”
Well we think he’s already a shoe-in. Do you agree, HollywoodLifers? Let us know!
