‘America’s Next Top Model’ winner Nyle DiMarco absolutely stunned on the premiere of ‘Dancing With The Stars’ on March 21. Here’s why I think he deserves to win!
Wow! We’re only one episode into Season 22 of Dancing with the Stars and Nyle DiMarco already stands out to me as a clear front-runner. The deaf model’s inspiring story is courageous and amazing, but his natural rhythm and dancing ability is beyond nearly all the other competitors.
The dance was amazing. If there were any missteps, I clearly missed them, because their chemistry was on fire! His natural ability and the way they communicate on the dance floor is really remarkable.

Nyle DiMarco Should Win ‘DWTS’ — ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Season 22
Unlike previous deaf DWTS contestant Marlee Beth Matlin, Nyle can’t feel the vibrations or hear the music AT ALL. He can literally only rely on cues from his partner Peta.
Already, Nyle and Peta were subject to the DWTS curse — a small injury when she elbowed him in the forehead. He needed stitches in his eyebrow, but it didn’t deter them in the slightest. They got a 23 out of 30, the highest score of the night. They tied for first place with Boyz II Men member Wanya Morris, 42, and partner Lindsay Arnold, as well as Ginger Zee, 35, and Val Chmerkovskiy.
I really commend Peta for vowing to learn sign language to communicate with Nyle. She is a great choreographer and teacher, and together, I really think they can overcome obstacles and come out on top!
Nyle is also ridiculously attractive, which doesn’t hurt! He reminds me of former competitor Gilles Marini, who told HollywoodLife.com he is already Team Nyle, too!
Gilles told us EXCLUSIVELY: “It is going to be tough because I am seeing how they are pairing the people. I am looking at it through the dancers — Val is an excellent dancer, can he make Ginger phenomenal? We will see, I am intrigued with that! We’ll see, we’ll see! I wish Peta does very well because she is with someone from the deaf community. Hopefully he can move and he can smile because imagine if you are not hearing anything and you have to dance to something — it is all physical and if he does that then he is a genius, I can’t wait to see him dance!”
Do you agree with me? Should Nyle win season 22 of DWTS, HollywoodLifers?
