Rihanna looks better than ever on the cover of ‘VOGUE’ as she poses in a sheer and sequin Tom Ford gown, which put her curves on full display — and there’s way more where that came from!
Rihanna, 26, is on top of the world! Not only did she just kick off her Anti world tour but she posed for a sexy, high-fashion VOGUE cover shoot. From sexy, body-skimming gowns to severe plunging necklines, RiRi dares to bare for the fashion magazine. Inside, she opened up about her debut collection for Puma and what it meant to be the first black Dior woman.
We’re used to RiRi dominating the charts with her music, but she’s also at the top of the game in the fashion world. Not only was her Fenty collection for Puma well-received when it debuted during New York Fashion Week in February, but she also has a shoe collection with Manolo Blahnik in the works and a sunglass collection with Christian Dior. “I was already proud to be a Dior woman, but to be a black Dior woman and the first: It did something else for me,” she told the magazine of her partnership with Dior. In 2015, the songstress was named the first black face of the brand.
The star opened up about her Puma collection, which featured many unisex designs. “I always wanted to do what my brothers were doing,” she said. “I always wanted to play the games they played and play rough and wear pants and go outside.” She added: “Women feel empowered when they can do the things that are supposed to be only for men, you know? It breaks boundaries, it’s liberating, and it’s empowering when you feel like, Well, I can do that, too.”
Rihanna’s first collection was inspired by Japanese street color and nineties music and fashion. “All my favorite artists and fashion icons and models are from the nineties,” she said, citing Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Mary J. Blige, Lil’ Kim, Gwen Stefani, Jean Paul Gaultier, and John Galliano. “Everybody was just so fearless.”
Just when we thought we couldn’t be more obsessed with RiRi, her stunning VOGUE shoot and interview comes along. For more from the star, be sure to check out the April issue of the magazine and get .
