Michelle Obama was the very special guest at the ‘Let Girls Learn,’ event during SXSW on March 15. She looked fabulous in a black and white pinstripe dress with a little slit on the side. What did you think of her outfit — did you love it as much as we did?
Michelle Obama, 52, headed to SXSW in Austin, Texas on March 15 where she attended the Let Girls Learn event. Michelle looked absolutely stunning in a black and white pinstripe dress with a slit on the side. We love this slinky little dress on Michelle, do you?
Michelle looked so fabulous, as always, when she headed to the event in a custom-made frock by the New York-based brand, 3.1 Phillip Lim. The silky dress was sleeveless and featured a high-neckline, while the material was cinched in at the waist, highlighting her figure.
One side of the dress featured a high-slit, showing off her toned legs. She topped the look off with a pair of ankle-strap, (which are currently the hottest trend), Stuart Weitzman Nearlynude sandals in Saddle Suede.
FLOTUS spoke about everything from helping young women, to announcing she will not run for President, to debuting a new song called “This is for My Girls,” available on iTunes, that benefits Let Girls Learn. Missy Elliott, Kelly Clarkson, Zendaya, Janelle Monae and duo Chloe & Halle, are the stars of the song.
She always looks stunning wherever she goes and she is always rocking an American designer, which we love. Just last week, she headed to the White House State Dinner in one of the most gorgeous dresses we’ve seen from her. She donned a strapless Jason Wu gown with a thigh-high slit and a floral pattern all over it.
We love Michelle’s casual, but chic striped dress, do you? What do you guys think of Michelle’s outfit?
