No one can fill Harrison Ford‘s shoes, but since the if we had to pick a young Han Solo, these three could totally work! Alden Ehrenreich, Jack Reynor, and Taron Egerton are the three stunning men in the running to play the roles. So, who are they and where do you know them from? I’ll break it down for you.
The search is in its final stages, The Hollywood Reporter reported, naming these three as the top candidates. So here’s what you should know about each.
Where you’ve seen him: Most recently, he starred in Hail, Ceaser! with George Clooney and Channing Tatum — but he’s also guest starred in TV shows like Supernatural and CSI.
Fun Fact: He spent his free time as a kid making short home movies with friends — and one ended up being viewed by Steven Spielberg, at a bat mitzvah. The director had the head of DreamWorks casting call him — he thought it was a prank call!
Where you’ve seen him: You probably recognize him from Transformers: Age of Extinction with Mark Wahlberg and Nicola Peltz; he is also the brother wolf in the upcoming Jungle Book: Origins.
Fun Fact: He has spoken about the Han role in the past. “He’s not a chump, you know what I mean? You can’t do imitation; you can’t try and just emulate what that is. It’s got to be something new, and it’s also got to be something that the audience is going to respond to,” he told MTV News in January.
Where you’ve seen him: He was most recently in Eddie The Eagle and Kingsman: The Secret Service and is set to return in the sequel.
