Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are over, but they’ve achieved the difficult task of staying in each other’s lives as friends! WATCH Ben talk about why he and Jen don’t have any bad blood between them.
Ben Affleck, 43, and Jennifer Garner, 43, filed for divorce last summer, but even though their marriage is over, they are “good friends”. See what Ben had to say about why he and Jen are making their friendship work!
Ben told talk show host Ellen DeGeneres on March 16 that he and Jen have stayed friends for the sake of their kids, Violet, 10, Seraphina, 6, and Samuel, 4: “We’re good friends and we’re doing our best,” Ben revealed. “Our kids are fabulous and we’re working our best for them.” Ellen applauded Ben for putting the kids first, and we totally agree that it’s great he and Jen are taking the high road!
Ben’s confession comes right on the heels of Jen’s explosive Vanity Fair magazine interview, in which she says that despite from their divorce scandal, she’d still marry him all over again! “I would go back and remake that decision. I ran down the beach to him, and I would again. You can’t have these three babies and so much of what we had. He’s the love of my life,” Jen admitted. “What am I going to do about that? He’s the most brilliant person in any room, the most charismatic, the most generous. He’s just a complicated guy. I always say, ‘When his sun shines on you, you feel it.’ But when the sun is shining elsewhere, it’s cold. He can cast quite a shadow.” We’re so sad that these guys couldn’t work it out!
HollywoodLifers, are you proud of Ben and Jen for setting aside their differences and staying friends in the interest of their kids?
