A new song from Justin Bieber? That’s what his fans were treated to at the latest ‘Purpose’ show, and now we can’t help but wonder who ‘Insecurities’ might be about! Click inside to WATCH!
Justin Bieber, 22, is really bringing the heat for his fans on the 2016 Purpose World Tour. Not only is he playing his hits old and new, but he’s also incorporating some previously unheard tracks, like “Insecurities,” that have Beliebers everywhere swooning over the idea of new music.
Um, we need more of this new music ASAP, Justin! The singer took a moment out of his exciting Purpose tour show in Portland, Oregon on Sunday night, March 13 to play a sweet new track for his fans. The song is called
“Insecurities,” and Justin performed it solo while sitting in a lounge chair and strumming his acoustic guitar. Sigh!
Even though the song was previously unheard by fans, it’s one Justin has mentioned before while discussing his new music. In his GQ interview, the author wrote: “Bieber plays a new song he is working on called ‘Insecurities,’ the lyrics of which are about fixing a girl’s insecurities. He asks me if I like it. I do like it. The hook — Oh, oh…oh, oh… fix all of your insecurities —rattles around my head for days.”
And now we finally get to hear a bit of the song, too! Make sure to watch the video above to hear a full :30 seconds from the song, which Justin will hopefully decide to release at a later time. Fingers crossed!
We can’t help but wonder who “Insecurities” could be about though. Could this be his ballad for longtime friend and non-girlfriend Hailey Baldwin, 19? Don’t forget that in the very same interview he played the song, he also mentioned that he’s afraid of hurting Hailey because she could, one day, be the girl he ends up marrying.
“I know in the past I’ve hurt people and said things that I didn’t mean to make them happy in the moment,” Justin tells GQ. “So now I’m just more so looking at the future, making sure I’m not damaging them. What if Hailey ends up being the girl I’m gonna marry, right? If I rush into anything, I damage her, then it’s always gonna be damaged. It’s really hard to fix wounds like that. It’s so hard…I just don’t want to hurt her.” Click HERE to read more about Justin and Hailey’s relationship.
