The champions of the Pac-12 Conference in basketball will be determined in Sin City on Mar. 12 when Utah and Oregon face off in a winner take all game. At stake in the championship game is the Pac-12 title along with a guaranteed spot in the NCAA tournament. Watch the game online here.
Byes in the first round helped the top seeds get some rest and ultimately knock out the lesser opponents. The quarter-finals saw #1 seed Oregon easily handle their next door neighbor, #8 Washington. Arizona, Cal and Utah all cruised by the quarters with wins in their respective brackets.
Utah will be taking on Oregon in this grudge match for a ticket to the big dance. Both teams are highly ranked with solid regular season records and are likely to receive bids to the big show despite the outcome of the Pac-12 title game. The Pac-12 title will be nice but the big NCAA title is what these two teams are really after.
There were many outstanding performances leading up to the championship game by some really hot guys. Notably, Utah’s sophomore forward, Kyle Kuzma, 21, went off against USC in the quarter’s to secure his team the 80-72 victory. Kyle shot a lights out 11 of 12 for 23 points from the floor with 7 boards, way to go kid!
Then there was Allonzo Trier, 20, who dropped 23 points for for Arizona in their 82-78 victory over Colorado. Allonzo was deadly from outside going 3-4 from three-point range during his 33 minutes on the floor.

Ivan Raab, 19, was breaking ankles against Oregon State. Ivan earned 21 points for his Cal Bears in their quarter round win. Ivan rounded out his double-double with 15 boards to help push his team to the 76-68 win.
