

Now that’s how you do it! Brave Sparsh Shah, 12, showed anything’s possible by rapping along to Eminem‘s 2010 hit “Not Afraid” in a YouTube video that’s gone viral. The terminally-ill New Jersey boy even received praise from his hip-hop idol, who retweeted the clip to his millions of fans.
YouTube sensation Sparsh, who goes under the rap moniker of Purhythm, was born with the incurable disease osteogenesis imperfecta, which makes his bones brittle and fragile. But the wheelchair-stricken performer isn’t allowing his illness get in the way of the one thing he loves doing — rapping!
In fact, as he spits out Em’s rhymes, just close your eyes and you will honestly believe that you could be listening to the original, Sparsh’s that good!
Since uploading the video to YouTube, Sparsh’s talents have received over 700,000 views. On Facebook, he’s been shared over 3,000 times and viewed over 100,000 times. Eminem’s record label Shady Records also was impressed, retweeting the video and giving Sparsh a well-deserved shout out.

Due to Sparsh’s incurable disease, his YouTube page reveals that if someone was to shake his hand it could break his bones. Because of his condition, he uses a wheelchair to get around. So far, this fearless lad has suffered from 125 fractures in his life. But that hasn’t stopped him from his passion. Sparsh has written 10 of his own songs, several short stories, as well as poems and speeches. The born entertainer even performs at local events in New Jersey.
