The 2016 Presidential race is heating up that even Hillary Clinton is feeling the ‘bern.’ Fresh off his upset win in the Michigan primary, Bernie Sanders now faces Hillary at the March 9 debate. Need to know when this political showdown is happening? HollywoodLife.com has all the details!
Bernie Sanders, 74, may have won the Michigan Primary but this race is far from over. In fact, Hillary Clinton, 68, still holds a commanding lead, which is why every debate is critical to their campaigns. These two political titans will battle once again, and HollywoodLife.com has the info that you need to know.
The March 9 debate kicks off at 9:00 P.M., according to CNN. The debate is actually co-sponsored by Univision and the Washington Post, and will be broadcast in Spanish on the Latin channel. However, for those who don’t speak Spanish, CNN will simulcast the event in English.
HollywoodLife.com will also have a live stream of the event, of course. Come back here to watch the Washington Post‘s Karen Tumulty, 60, moderate the event. She’ll be joined by Univision’s Maria Elena Salinas, 61, and Jorge Ramos, 57, to help discuss immigration reform and public policy.
The bi-lingual event is also due to its location, as Hillary and Bernie will face off at the Miami Dade College campus in sunny Florida. A week after the debate, on March 15, Florida Dem voters will go to the polls. It’s going to be a major primary, as 246 delegates are up for grabs. You don’t need to be a super delegate to get .
While things may get nasty between these two like they did at the March 6 debate in Flint, Michigan, expect both to blast Donald Trump, 69. Univision dropped Trump’s Miss USA pageant after he made his infamous comments that Mexican immigrants crossing the border are “rapists” and drug dealers. Donald even threw out Jorge Ramos during an Aug. 25 rally in Iowa, telling him to “go back to Univision!” Wait, who’s co-moderating this debate again? That’s right – Jorge is.
During the March 6 debate, Bernie blasted Donald for being out of his mind. After he (or Hillary) wins, Bernie said, “We’re going to invest a lot of money in mental health and if you watch the Republican debates, you’ll know why.” Will there be any more epic slams like that during this debate? Tune in and watch!
