We can’t even believe what just happened! On the March 8 episode of Pretty Little Liars, Hanna (Ashley Benson) confessed to murdering Charlotte, but did she really do it?
No, Hanna didn’t kill Charlotte, but she told “A” she did. Keep reading to find out why.
The episode started with Mona confessing to Emily that she did, in fact, call Charlotte in an effort to meet up with her the night she was murdered. That means she was the cute brunette at the diner — not Aria. But Mona also said Charlotte never showed up. Emily relayed this information to Spencer and Aria, but they weren’t too sure they believe Charlotte never met up with Mona.
Later, Alison suffered a fall down a flight of stairs while at a bed and breakfast with her new husband, Elliot. The accident landed her in the hospital, where she wondered if her plunge was actually an accident. And when Hanna went to visit Alison at the hospital, she discovered a card with cartoon photos of all the liars inside. There was a red “x” over three of their faces — Alison’s, Aria’s and Emily’s. Hanna took the card without Alison knowing. When Hanna showed it to Caleb, they came up with a plan on how to stop uber “A.” And for them, that entailed a very believable murder confession from Hanna. It was a plan that Spencer seemed on board with until Hanna rudely grabbed a hold of Caleb’s hand. Anyway, Hanna and Caleb thought that if she confessed to murdering Charlotte, they could finally find out what “A” really wants. So that’s what they did. The episode ended with Hanna sending the following text: “Leave my friends alone. I killed Charlotte.”
Elsewhere in the episode, Emily caught Mona talking to the man who walked Sara Harvey into Charlotte’s funeral. Emily and Spencer later spotted him coming out of City Hall with some sort of blueprints. When they cornered him and pretended to hit his car, Spencer took a peek and saw they were blueprints for The Radley. Then, after following him a bit more, Emily saw him throw the plans into Sara Harvey’s car as she drove by.
Also, Lucas offered Hanna a $1 million line of credit to open her own business in a factory he’s renovating in Rosewood (that’s the “gesture” he EXCLUSIVELY told us about). And Alison got a visit from Mrs. DeLaurentis while dreaming at the hospital. Or could Mrs. D be the one with the twin?!
So much happened in this week’s episode, but what do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Who has the twin? Did Hanna do the right thing by confessing to Charlotte’s murder? Tell us below!
