ABC News Correspondent Sara Haines and her husband, Max Shifrin, welcomed their first child, a bouncing baby boy. The pair announced the news on March 5 with a live Periscope of Alec Richard Shifrin‘s big arrival — how exciting!
What a cutie! Sara’s little boy, Alec, arrived at 1:52 p.m. weighing in at 7 lbs. and 5 ounces. The new mommy live-streamed her arrival at the hospital along with some footage of Alec’s big arrival on Periscope. She later shared an adorable Instagram photo of her tiny family with the caption,”We did it!!! On March 5th, 2016 we met our little guy Alec Richard Shifrin (named after our dads). He weighed in at 7 lbs. 5 ounces. We are excited, exhausted, and possibly still in shock, but soaking it all in.” Sara added, “Thank you for the encouraging words. It will take a village to raise this little man :).”
