Justin Bieber feels Conor McGregor’s pain too! The ‘Sorry’ singer responded to the Irish UFC fighter’s surprise loss by raising a glass and toasting his hero, insisting the defeat broke his heart! Click here to see the video Justin posted to Instagram!
We were just as surprised too! Justin Bieber, 22, raised a glass to Conor McGregor, 27, after his shocking loss to Nate Diaz, 30, and shared the video with his followers. Justin was obviously downbeat about Conor’s loss, just like his army of loyal fans, and says in the clip the defeat, “broke my heart.”
The world was stunned when World Champion Conor fell to his un-fancied challenger Nate with a second round submission at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada on March 5. And UFC fan Justin was clearly devastated for his main man.
Not letting the defeat ruin his evening Justin can be seen clinking glasses with a group of pals, with what looks like whiskey, as he toasts the great fighter.
“Still to McGregor. To McGregor! Justin says in the Instagram clip. “He’s still the champ. That broke my heart.” Aww. We’re sure Conor isn’t smarting too much because he’s said to have earned north of $10 million, despite his loss, for the fight. We expect he will bounce right back too!
Justin also captioned his video saying, “No bandwagon but Conor is a true champion, fights with style and finesse, all the respect to Nate but his style is terrible. Nate has crazy heart respect.”
Biebs is clearly a massive fight fan, given his friendship and relationship with boxing legend Floyd Mayweather and now this toast to Conor. Maybe he will bring Conor luck for his next fight by walking him to the ring?!
