The Super Bowl MVP is reportedly heading to the ballroom! Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller is joining the cast of ‘Dancing With The Stars’ for season 22, according to a new report!
Let’s hope Von Miller, 26, can be as successful on the dance floor as he is on the football field! The Denver Broncos linebacker and 2016 Super Bowl MVP is reportedly joining Dancing With The Stars. Von will be up against an all-star cast, but we all know he’s one heck of a competitor!
Von will be a contestant on season 22 of Dancing With The Stars, a source confirmed to ESPN’s Jeff Legwold. The exciting news was first revealed by BSN Denver. The outlet also reported that Von had already started traveling to Los Angeles to begin training for the show.
Von joining Dancing With The Stars isn’t a huge surprise to those who know Von. He’s already expressed how much likes to get down on the dance floor. “I like to dance,” Miller said before the Super Bowl, according to ESPN. “First thing, I like to dance. Sometimes I think about it; sometimes they just happen. But I dance at practice all the time, I just like to dance. I like to show emotion. I say you have a younger generation that pays close attention to that and that is what they follow. So give them something to follow, plus I just like it.”
The talented linebacker is just the latest star to join the cast of the show. Fuller House star Jodie Sweetin will also be a part of the new season. Former O.C. star Mischa Barton and GMA meteorologist Ginger Zee are reportedly joining the show as well. The rest of the cast will be revealed on March 8 on Good Morning America.
Julianne Hough and Derek Hough will not be returning to the show this year. Derek, who won last season with Bindi Irwin, will be taking a break to prepare for his starring role in Broadway’s Singin’ In The Rain. Judge Len Goodman is coming back to the show after taking off last season.
