Whoa! Keanu Reeves officially wins most dedicated action hero in Hollywood because that man can shred! While training for his ‘John Wick’ film sequel, he got some super intense tactical training and you’ll never believe how he can handle his firearms!
He really is “The One!” Keanu Reeves, 52, sure doesn’t need any stunt doubles to perform his shootout scenes in the upcoming sequel to his action film John Wick, because the actor can handle guns like nobody’s business! A video has surfaced that has blown up on the internet showing him race between shooting off a pistol, rifle and a shotgun all at different targets at a super high pace. He looks like he’s become an expert at a sport that’s become known as the “3gun.”
“Well ladies and gents, everyone loves a little shredding,” Taran Tactical Innovations wrote on Facebook showing off a 37 second video of Keanu shooting his way through a target course changing between three different types of guns. “Make sure you guys check out ‘John Wick II‘ when it hits theaters. The firearms action alone will be unlike anything you’ve ever seen. So much of it is revolutionary stuff that we gun owners have known of for years but never made it to the big screen.”
The video follows The Matrix star as he runs behind barriers, shoots both at close and far ranges, but the fluidity that he has when switching weapons is something that is completely blowing our minds. He’s obviously been practicing hard because “3gun courses are for only the most elite shooters.
The sport actually has competitive matches and is gaining in steady popularity. “It involves involve courses where the shooter must move through different stages and engage targets in a variety of different positions. Each stage will generally require the use of different firearms and require the shooter to transition between them,” according to the National Shooting Sports Association. It looks like Keanu could easily enter or even win a 3gun comp, and many comments to the Facebook video were encouraging the actor to do so!
HollywoodLifers, are you impressed by Keanu’s crazy fast shooting skills?
