The Underwoods are back and more lethal than ever. Season four of House of Cards debuted on Netflix on March 4, and it’s going to be a roller coaster of a season. You definitely want to binge watch season four immediately, but here’s 5 things to remember before you do!
1. Problems in Frank and Claire’s marriage were exposed.
Frank appointed Claire as the United States ‘ ambassador to the United Nations, and it didn’t turn out so well. After complications with Russia and Jordan Valley came up, Frank forced Claire to resign. Needless to say, that didn’t make his powerful wife very happy.
2. Claire told Frank she was leaving him.
After the United Nations ambassador, Claire declared she was leaving Frank. Yep, she told him right in the middle of his presidential campaign.
3. Doug killed Rachel!
Doug continued to be obsessed with Rachel, and he eventually tracked her down. He found her, stalked her and then killed her. Oh, and he was working for Frank’s enemy Dunbar, but he ended up back on Frank’s side.
4. Jackie went toe-to-toe with Frank.
Frank promised Jackie he would make her vice president if she joined the presidential race. Despite his attempts to keep Jackie at bay in the political landscape, she wasn’t going to take a back seat. She dropped out and endorsed Dunbar. Burn. She also broke up with Remy, got engaged, and then got back together with Remy.
5. Neve Campbell joined the show for season four!
The Scream queen joined the cast as lawyer Leann Harvey. “She is a strong, successful woman in her own right who is invited to help someone in their campaign this season. I’m not even allowed to say who,” Neve told Newsbeat. For those of you who have watched, you know who. But we’re keeping this post spoiler-free!
