Move over, Donald Trump, it’s time for your ex to shin! Marla Maples is reportedly set to take over the dance floor on season 22 of ‘Dancing with the Stars!’
Marla Maples, 52, is most known for being Donald Trump‘s wife from 1993 to 1999 — but she’s far more than that, and she’s ready to show it off! The actress is the latest in talks to join Dancing with the Stars, along with Ginger Zee and Mischa Barton, and the first official announced celeb, Jodie Sweetin. So, who do you think her partner will be?!
The actress has been in talks to join the ABC show for years, was rumored in 2008, but now, is set to dance the night away, multiple sources have confirmed to Us magazine. Marla has appeared on Executive Decision, as well as ABC’s reality show The Ex-Wives Club in 2007. However, she grew to fame after her infamous affair with Trump during his first marriage to Ivana Trump. Marla and Donald had one daughter together, Tiffany.
Marla was recently asked how she felt about Tiffany joining Trump’s campaign, and she was supportive.
“Let me just tell you. He’s the father of my beautiful daughter and I support her in everything,” she told Inside Edition. When asked about being the first ex-wife of the White House, she jokingly answered, “I think I’d rather be in there!”
While we don’t yet know who Marla’s partner will be, we know it won’t be Derek Hough, as he’ll be reportedly off this season, focusing fully on his Broadway role in Singing in the Rain. We also know it won’t be Keo Motsepe, as he is partnered with the Fuller House star.
Other change ups coming this season include dancer-turned-judge Julianne Hough‘s absence this season , as she’ll be working on other career endeavors,as well as the return of famed judge, Len Goodman, who took last season off to work on Strictly Come Dancing in England.
