It was a hilarious reunion for the guys of the original ‘Full House’ as the trio stopped by ‘The Late Show With Stephen Colbert’ and while doing a little reminiscing, Bob Saget did a whole lot of oversharing.
Aww, how we’ve missed this adorable threesome after all these years away! John Stamos, 52, Bob Saget, 59 and Dave Coulier, 56, stopped by to visit with Stephen Colbert, 51, and talk up the new Netflix reboot Fuller House, where they’re all making cameos in their original roles. They shared stories about how great the original show was, but Bob made a super shocking revelation about how his TV daughters turned out! Read on for what he had to say.
It’s been since 1995 that their series Full House went off the air, but with these guys’ amazing chemistry it feels like just yesterday that they were on-screen in our living rooms. Bob was discussing, “This crazy lunacy that we had with the kids, we became frieinds with and stayed friends with” them and how the tables have turned and now it’s his TV daughters raising kids of their own. Then things got a little creepy when Bob mentioned about Candace Cameron Bure, 39, and Jodie Sweetin, 34, “These girls are beautiful, they’re kind of hot,” to which John quickly pounced on Bob to remind him,”They’re your daughters!”
Even Dave gave Bob a little shameful reminder, telling him “your sound like Donald Trump right now,” in reference to all the times the 69-year-old tycoon turned politician has mentioned how stunning his 34-year-old daughter Ivanka is and how he’d date her if he wasn’t related to her. Bob did clarify that he was actually a good offscreen dad to the girls, joking “I never said f**k in front of the kids ever.” Hah, nice to know!
Fuller House‘s 13 episodes dropped on Netflix Feb. 26, and has already been renewed for a second season. The guys are making the promotional rounds for the show and it’s so great to have them all back in one place. We can’t wait to see if they’ll be back for Fuller House‘s next go around, but with the magic they have together, we wouldn’t be surprised.
