Julianne Moore’s Oscar dress was simply stunning as she made her way down the red carpet at the Academy Awards — but if her dress looked familiar, that’s because Kendall Jenner was actually the first to sport the style when she debuted the flowing frock right on the Chanel runway. Who do you think wore it better? Check out both looks here and VOTE.
Julianne Moore, 55, looked beautiful when she arrived at the 88th annual Academy Awards in LA on Feb. 28, clad in a flowing black Chanel gown. The 2015 Oscar winner was on hand to serve as a presenter for the evening — and her gorgeous gown was the perfect choice for the big night! In fact, she donned the dress two months after it made a debut on the runway. Not only did the neckline allow her to show some cleavage, but she styled it to perfection as she wore her hair parted in the middle, her signature red locks styled in smooth waves. Statement earrings completed her red carpet look.
While Julianne was one of the best dressed stars at the show, it actually wasn’t the first time we saw a stylish star rock the look. In fact, model Kendall Jenner, 20, donned a similar version of the glam gown when she rocked the runway for the Chanel show on Jan. 26.
Kendall’s version of the dress featured a lower neckline and an embellished stripe down the front of the frock — and she totally rocked the couture creation to perfection! While she looked so glam on the catwalk, we think the modified version was best for Julianne on Oscar night — and we love seeing these gorgeous gowns go from the runway to the red carpet!
