They managed to avoid the courtroom, but for how long? A new report reveals the details of Louis Tomlinson and Briana Jungwirth’s custody settlement, including whether or not the 1D singer will get to see his baby boy.
Sadly, it only took one month for Louis and Briana to come to blows of custody of their newborn son, Freddie. Even though it seemed like things were going incredibly well with the newfound family of three, Briana was reportedly very unhappy with their financial arrangement and, in turn, allegedly stopped letting Louis see their son. But now it’s being reported that they’ve found a resolution to their issue — and yes, it allows Louis visitation rights. Phew.
The catch? Louis will only have access to Freddie for “several hours at a time,” according to TMZ. This is only temporarily, claims the report, until their legal teams are able to finalize a “formal” agreement.
Apparently the drama started when Louis, who was reportedly paying Briana’s expenses, allegedly suggested they settle on a specific amount per month instead of week-by-week. This reportedly made Briana very unhappy, which is when she stopped allowing Louis to see their son. Way harsh.
Louis and Briana reportedly came to this temporary agreement just hours before they were due in court, which would have allowed a judge to make the call on their custody battle. However, Louis spent a short amount of time out of the country to attend the 2016 Brit Awards with his fellow One Direction singer, Liam Payne, which likely allowed him to be distracted by things other than his custody woes over Freddie.
