Kesha is such a beautiful soul! The singer is super grateful for all the support that she’s gotten from stars and fans since a judge ruled that she couldn’t break her contract with Sony, and thus couldn’t escape her alleged rapist Dr. Luke. To show everyone how she feels, her attorney Mark Geragos took to Twitter to share a video of Kesha singing a song she wrote for supporters. Listen, here!
Kesha announced on Feb. 25 that she would not be able to perform at Loyola University Chicago on Feb. 27 as planned. The event was supposed to be her first show following the very unfortunate legal loss to Dr. Luke on Feb. 19. To thank her supporters, she had Mark share a beautiful video of her singing her gratitude on Twitter on Feb. 26.
“Ready? 3.. 2..” Kesha count in as she looks beautifully natural with clear skin and straight blonde hair. She closes her eyes and sings passionately as someone plays guitar “Oh I don’t know what I would do without you. Oh no. I don’t know where I would be without you,” she serenades her fans and famous supporters. Mark captioned the video “A special thanks to everyone who has had her back #animals.” Animals are what her fans call themselves.

In an Instagram post on Feb. 23, Kesha said “I am beyond words in gratitude,” referring to fans and supportive stars like Taylor Swift, Adele, and Lady Gaga. “Thank you is not enough but it is all I have. A million times over and forever thank you. The support I have received has left my face swollen from tears. I love you all so much. ❤️ a statement too large for this format is coming…” We’re guessing the song is the “statement” she was talking about. Perhaps a full version will be released soon.
While Kesha’s fans are surely upset to not be seeing her, they are still rallying behind her. Her Manhattan fans planned to rally outside of Sony’s headquarters on Feb. 26 while 200,000 more have also signed a petition demanding they let her out of her contract in light of her sexual abuse claims. We’re so glad that this talented young lady has so much support.
