Season two of ‘I Am Cait’ is almost here and it looks like viewers are in for one heck of a ride! Not only can Caitlyn Jenner be seen twirling in a wedding gown in the new trailer, but she also admits that she’s ready to ‘evolve!’ Hmm, are wedding bells in store for the reality star?
Is Caitlyn Jenner, 66, ready for marriage? While the new season of I Am Cait promises to be both emotional and heartwarming, Caitlyn also hints to a possible new romance in her life when she’s shown spinning in a wedding dress boutique sporting her very own white gown! But that’s not all, the preview takes a turn for the dramatic while Cait is seen facing protesters and meeting a certain presidential candidate. Check out the powerful trailer below.
“I’m slowly coming into my womanhood, but it’s a work in progress,” Caitlyn reveals as she dances in a wedding dress in the season two teaser of the hit reality show, I Am Cait. But while the former Olympian says she needs to “evolve,” we don’t think getting married is exactly what she means — at least not yet! But if she’s trying on wedding dresses, we know that the idea of marriage is totally a possibility somewhere down the line! For now however, Caitlyn seems to be focusing on getting comfortable in her new skin, which this latest trailer portrays as a roller coaster of a process. From showing off her new ID, being honored at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards, and even meeting presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, — to which Hillz greets her with an enthusiastic “Oh my gosh!” — Caitlyn definitely seems to be embracing her new life, but the highs don’t come without the lows. Season two will also tackle some of the challenges Caitlyn has experienced throughout her transition, like being confronted by protestors holding up “WE AIN’T CAIT” signs and slamming her as an “insult to trans people.” How awful!
“I don’t want to hurt anybody,” an emotional Caitlyn reveals to her friend Candis Cayne in the clip. “Don’t you really mean you don’t want to get hurt yourself?” Candis responds. Deep, right? Caitlyn also bravely acknowledges that she’s “made mistakes along the way” but adds, “There’s just too much at stake to get it wrong.” And we have to agree, since coming out as transgender in 2015, Caitlyn has been deemed an important figure in the fight against LGBTQIA rights. We can’t wait to continue watching her journey! Curious to find out more? Tune in to I Am Cait on March 6 for its 9 p.m. ET premier on E!
