Jess is back, and he’s still Jess. Milo Ventimiglia revealed new details about the ‘Gilmore Girls’ revival in an all-new interview. So do Jess and Rory have a chance? Click to WATCH the interview!
Jess Mariano, we’ve missed you. Milo Ventimiglia, 38, is reprising his role as Rory’s suitor in the Netflix revival, and he dished new scoop on Jess’ return to Stars Hollow. Apparently, Jess is up to “Jess sh*t” and still “doing his own thing.” Is that a good or a bad thing for Rory (Alexis Bledel) and Jess fans?
“Jess is just up to Jess sh*t,” he told fans at a Wizard World comic book convention. “He’s Jess. He’s a little salty and ornery and kind of doing his own thing and has zero tolerance for anything — or anyone.”
Well, that’s Jess for you. That’s kind of why we fell in love with him in the first place, right? And Rory, too. However, Jess has a motive for being in Stars Hollow, and it may not be a good thing for the Rory and Jess fans out there.
“He’s also there to kind of push the ball forward for some folks of Stars Hollow, which is something that Jess has always done, whether intentionally, maliciously, or positively,” Milo continued. “He’s always sent people in a direction.”
Hopefully Jess is not pushing Rory away from him! While Milo didn’t reveal any romance scoop, it’s pretty much a guarantee we’re going to get some Jess and Rory action during the revival’s run.
But Jess isn’t the only guy from Rory’s past making an appearance on the 4-episode revival. Both Jared Padalecki and Matt Czuchry, who play Dean and Logan, will also be returning. Jared recently posted his first photo back on set as Dean. Wonder if Dean and Jess will have a run-in on the streets of Stars Hollow? Time will tell!
