What ever happened to predictability? We’re not quite sure because Carly Rae Jepsen’s ‘Fuller House’ theme song, which was released on Feb. 25, sounds nothing like the original. But that doesn’t mean it’s not good. It’s just very different. Listen to it here!
Fuller House will be released on Netflix tomorrow, Feb. 26, and just in time for its arrival, the show’s theme song has surfaced online. Carly Rae Jepsen sings the updated version of the Full House, and while it’s a bit different from the original, it’ll still make you feel like you’re at home with the Tanners.
The theme song was originally written and performed by Jesse Frederick in 1987, and according to exclaim.ca, he actually joined Carly Rae Jepsen in the studio to work on the reworked version. So cool! Listen to it above and let us know what you think.
As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, the Fuller House cast appeared on Good Morning America on Feb. 24, when they dished on the new show. When asked if people should binge watch the show or space the episodes out, Jodie Sweetin said, “I think there’s fun stuff they were able to do with carrying through story lines that didn’t have to be neatly tied up in the 28 minutes like the old show. So, you can watch a few episodes at a time. Parents are also talking about that they’re going to dull it out like ‘if you finish your homework and do your chores you can watch an episode of Fuller House.’”
Candace Cameron-Bure also talked about the cast’s chemistry. “The chemistry’s real. If you can’t tell how close we are and how much we love each other, it’s all true and real and I think the show is classic and timeless in the sense that it’s about family, and it’s about love and those stories carry through to any and every generation.” So cool! We’re extremely excited for tomorrow.
