Shia LaBeouf hit a fan during his latest performance art piece at Oxford University, but it’s not what you think! The student actually asked for it! Click here to see the bizarre video!
It’s all in the name of the art! Shia LaBeouf, 29, slapped a fan, and this time he didn’t get in trouble! The bad-boy Transformers actor took part in a performance art piece at Oxford University in the UK on Feb. 19, and received a bizarre request from one student.
There no paper bags over heads or phone calls to reach Shia’s soul this time, but for his latest stunt the troubled star spent 24 hours in an Oxford University elevator. This was the day before he was asked to give a talk at the prestigious teaching academy, so why not?!
Anyway, it gave fans the perfect opportunity to ride an elevator with Shia, quiz him about life, or anything they wanted to in the couple of minutes they got to spend with him.
However, one cheeky fan gave Shia far more than he bargained for by asking the Hollywood artist if he could punch him in the face to complete his own experimental art piece.
“Aww, man. You want me to punch you in the face?” Shia replied surely wondering what he was being set up for. The student then offered Shia his hat, in which Shia told him “I don’t want to punch you very hard.” In the end, the student settled for a slap, which can amusingly be heard behind the closed elevator doors in the audio.
Explaining his reasons for asking Shia to slap him, the student told Oxford Union student newspaper Cherwell that he thought his hero might have been a bit “bored.”
HollywoodLifers, did you think it was brave of the student to ask Shia to slap him? Isn’t it just SUCH a bizarre request? Share your thoughts below!
