The ‘Mob Wives’ stars seem to cause just as much drama offscreen as they do onscreen. While many of Big Ang’s friends and family gathered at her disco-themed wake on Saturday, Feb. 20, one person wasn’t invited: Karen Gravano. Why? A new report claims ‘no rats allowed.’
Apparently, not everyone was welcome at Big Ang‘s disco-themed wake on Saturday, Feb. 20. While many of her Mob Wives co-stars showed up to pay their final respects — one even brought bodyguards — Karen Gravano was banned from the event. Find out why.
A member of the show’s cast told TMZ that Karen wasn’t invited because “no rats allowed.” Ouch. That seems harsh, but maybe it was for the best. After all, another one of Big Ang’s co-stars showed up to the service and cause quite a scene.
At the wake, the family was furious at how Drita [D’Avanzo] came in with bodyguards escorting her, which made a scene. There were all family and friends there. This was a private event. None of the other girls behaved that way. One family member even made a comment saying, ‘Doesn’t she know that there’s only one star here today?’ They felt she was trying to steal the spotlight and make it all about her. They felt her behavior was fake and for theatrical purposes,” a source told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
It’s a shame Big Ang’s wake was full of so much drama. She was such a beautiful soul and deserved a peaceful service. As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, Big Ang passed away on Feb. 18, 2016 after losing her battle to cancer. It was totally unexpected and she’s been in our thoughts ever since.
