“The cool thing about Nashville is that you have so many artists who want to help you out,” Lindsay tells HollywoodLife.com. “We were touring with Luke Bryan last year, we opened up for Blake Shelton. I saw Brad Paisley at the Opry a couple weeks ago, and he was like, ‘Hey, when you want to come to a show and hook up an amp, we’ll just jam on stage.’ So that’s the really cool part about superstars in Nashville specifically, they’re just wanting to help out. So it’s been fun, and yes, I hope there are some interesting collaborations coming soon.”
A Brad and Lindsay collaboration would be amazing! We can’t wait to see these two rock out on stage. We also asked Lindsay if she would want to work with superstar Taylor Swift. “I mean, it definitely would be amazing,” she told us.
Lindsay’s released “By The Way” as her lead single back in 2015. The song is the perfect tune to jam to when you want to get over an ex. She dished about the legendary country singers who inspired her to write such an amazing song.
“‘By The Way’ was a song I actually wrote a couple years ago and I remember growing up, Shania Twain and Dixie Chicks, and all these powerful women were such huge role models to me and I just loved how their music said something and yet they were inspiring younger females to go after their dreams,” Lindsay revealed to us. “And so when we were figuring out what should be this next single, I remember walking in the room that day with songwriters to write ‘By The Way,’ and being like, ‘I want to write an empowering female song that will inspire younger girls as Shania and Dixie Chicks inspired me.’ So three hours later when we came out with ‘By The Way,’ I knew it was going to be something special. Some writes are 10 minutes, some are 10 months – it really differs! But yeah, it’s an average of three hours.”
