Just moments after the ladies walked the Grammy red carpet, both looking stunning we might add, Taylor had to quickly take the stage for her opening performance of “Out of the Woods.” After that, the two talented artists were spotted hugging each other backstage. It looked like Ariana loved her performance even if Taylor didn’t. Women supporting other women is always a beautiful thing to see.
After Taylor’s hug, Ariana did have a bit of an awkward moment by herself on stage when she introduced The Weeknd’s, 25, incredible performance. “How did this next performer land his 7 nominations tonight, including Album of the Year and Song of the Year,” she asked the crowd. “Well, ladies and gentlemen, get ready for the pun of the century… he earned it.” Let’s just say it didn’t get the crowd laughing.
