Winner of the Grammys Best New Artist Award, it was Meghan Trainor’s night to shine, and that meant a sparkly gold manicure. Find out how you can get the singer’s exact Grammys look!
Meghan Trainor, 22, attended the 58th Annual Grammy Awards with a head-to-toe glam and glittery look. The “All About That Bass” singer performed at the show and took home the award for Best New Artist. Wearing a black sparkly long-sleeved dress, Meghan rocked the nails to match.
Manicurist Kimmie Kyees was behind Meghan’s Grammys nails, and she used Essie polishes to create the perfect eye-catching look. Using three different sparkly shades, Meghan’s look doesn’t require any nail art skills, so it’s easy to recreate at home.
After applying a base coat, Kimmie applied two coats of Essie Nail Polish in Sequin Sash, a rose gold shade. Next, she applied a coat of Set In Stones, for a sparkling diamond effect. To complete the look, Kimmie topped Meghan’s nails off with the glittering gold Rock At The Top shade.
The Grammys also marked Meghan’s first red carpet with her new hair. Showing off a much shorter lob cut to Instagram earlier in February, Meghan also dyed her signature blonde locks a rich reddish brown shade.
Meghan revealed that the new cut and color reflects her upcoming album, leaving us all wondering what exactly she has in store for us all — and when she’ll be releasing the album.
