She may be better known as a winter sports star, but Lindsey is totally heating up the pages of Sports Illustrated‘s new Swimsuit Issue with her sexy bikini style — or should we say, paint style![CLICK HERE TO SEE HER FULL SPREAD]. Joining Ronda and tennis star Caroline Wozniacki, Lindsey stripped down to nothing but her birthday suit to pose for the magazine’s iconic body paint spread, and we can’t stop obsessing over how amazing she looks!

Lindsey Vonn Strips Down For ‘SI’ Swimsuit’s Body Paint Photo Shoot

Shot by photographer Frederic Pinet, the sexy spread sees Lindsey soaking up the sun (completely naked mind you) in Petit St. Vincent in the Grenadine islands, where she was also spotted frolicking around in the water and striking some seriously sexy poses. Though it was technically her second appearance in the storied glossy, this marked the first time Lindsey stripped all the way down, and we have to give her props because these photos are flawless!

The pro athlete even took to Instagram to share a snap from her sexy spread, captioning the steamy photo:  Surprise! @carowozniacki @rondarousey and I were getting body painted for @si_swimsuit! Proud to be in this issue with such strong, beautiful and amazing athletes! Size doesn’t matter, be confident in your own skin! Big thx to @mj_day @darciebaum @fredericpinet @therealmarissajade @joannegair for making this all happen! Check out my Facebook page for more!

Despite looking drop-dead gorgeous in her racy shoot, Lindsey revealed that she had some reservations about baring it all for the public. “I wasn’t quite sure if I was comfortable at first with body paint, but I said yes,” Lindsey said on “Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2016 Revealed,” which aired on Feb. 13 on TNT.  Thank goodness for that!

As one can imagine though, the actual process of having a designer swimsuit painted onto your body (and trust us, they get into every nook and cranny with that stuff) is more than a little awkward, and yet Lindsey proved to be nothing but a good sport about it. “Totally normal right now. Totally normal,” she joked during a behind-the-scenes video of the shoot. “When you see the suit on a hanger, and then you see it on your body painted, it’s such a different experience,” she added.

As previously reported, this year’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue has proven to be one of the franchise’s sexiest and most diverse of all time. For the proof, just look at this year’s — count ’em — three beautiful cover stars: UFC fighter Ronda Rousey, 29, newcomer Hailey Clauson, 20, and plus-size model Ashley Graham, 28. In addition to the cover girls, this year’s SI Swimsuit issue also features a host of other knockout beauties including veterans like Irina Shayk, Emily Ratajkowski, Kelly Rhorbach, and Gigi Hadid, and SI Rookies Barbara Palvin and Tanya Mityushina. Gorgeous!
