Fans of The Bachelor are learning of the tragic news that season 14 (Jake Pavelka’s) contestant Lex McAllister reportedly committed suicide on Feb. 13, and was taken off life support Feb. 16. Friends and fans of Lex were absolutely heartbroken on Feb. 16 to learn of her death. The season 14 contestant tried to take her own life on Feb. 13 by overdosing on prescription medication, according to TMZ, after battling with bipolar disorder and depression. She was in stable condition on the way to the hospital, but then her organs began to fail.
Her family had to make the very hard and tragic decision to take her off of life support, which finally lead to her death on Feb. 16. Friends and fans that got to know her through the show are absolutely devastated by the loss of such a kind and vibrant human being, and they’re taking to Twitter to share their heartbreak.
Jesse Csincsak, winner of the fourth season of The Bachelorette, was shocked by the loss of his good friend, saying “You were a beautiful soul inside and out !!! You will be missed !! Until we meet again dear R.I.P gone but never forgotten !!!” He also shared a sweet photo alongside his pal before she died.

Fans who got to know Lex on The Bachelor also shared their grief. Many were upset to lose a second contestant from season 14, after the death of Gia Allemand in 2013. The beauty came in third place on the show, and also took her own life.
