Chrissy Teigen looked chic, sexy and sleek at the Grammy Awards on Feb. 15, alongside husband John Legend. Get her exact hair and makeup look below!
Chrissy Teigen, 30, definitely has the pregnancy glow! Her skin looked absolutely radiant, and we loved that she showed it off with a tight, high ponytail. Find out how to copy her beauty from the 2016 Grammys here!
Chrissy is the new face of the TRESemme Beauty-Full volume line, so of course, her hairstylist Jen Atkin used the products for her Grammys look.
Here’s the how to:
“Prep hair with the TRESemmé Beauty-Full Volume reverse wash system, applying the Pre-Wash Conditioner, followed by the Beauty-Full Volume Shampoo to get a great base.
Apply TRESemmé Beauty-Full Volume Hair Maximizer, followed by OUAI soft mousse, to damp hair.
Blow dry hair straight with a large metal round brush and hair dryer. When strands are dry, flat iron straight.
Apply OUAI hair oil and OUAI finishing cream to hands before gathering the hair into a high ponytail and securing with a brown bungee band. PRO TIP: To hide the bungee band, wrap section of hair from ponytail around the bungee band and secure with small hair pin.
Finish with TRESemmé Beauty-Full Volume Flexible Finish Hairspray, misting some on a toothbrush to brush away any flyaways.
Run more OUAI treatment oil through the length of the ponytail to smooth.”
Chrissy Teigen’s Grammys Hair & Makeup — Gorgeous Pregnancy Glow
Makeup artist Mary Phillips used Kiehl’s Since 1851 and Physicians Formula to create her gorgeous look. She said about the look: “Her white dress with the crystal and beading detailing is so beautiful…we didn’t want the makeup to compete with that, we wanted the makeup to play INTO those vibes. Something bold, but still soft; color pops but in a neutralized palette that look so good with her skin tone, eye color, and hair color….The fact that she’s pregnant doesn’t alter the makeup or what I do so much as it does INSPIRE me in a different way…
She really does have that “glow” about her, a certain freshness, and something that’s also refreshing at the same time. She’s very genuine as well in herself, what you see is what you get, and that’s one of the things (of many) that I love about her, so what I want to do with her makeup is just go OFF of that. Makeup shouldn’t be fake or contrived — It should just be an extension of you. That’s what I tried to convey with this look: just sexy, real, confident and making a large emphasis on keeping the skin as dewy and glowy as possible, even though she already has that naturally, as I mentioned earlier. This palette pairing mixed with what we chose to play up regarding her stunning features, makes for an effortless strong sort of beauty.”
For a gorgeous base, Mary used Kiehl’s Daily Reviving Concentrate. She relied on Armani Maestro Foundation to make the face matte where needed (forehead, apples of the cheeks, and neck) and for some radiance, used Physicians Formula Super BB #InstaReady Contour Trio Stick SPF 30 in Bronze Trio.
For her smokey eyes, she used Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips Custom Eye Enhancing Extreme Shimmer Shadow and Liner in Bronze Nude and Physicians Formula Argan Wear Ultra-Nourishing Argan Oil Kohl Kajal Eyeliner.
Her lips looked perfect with a combination of Bite Beauty Lip Liner in Cashew, Tom Ford Lipstick in Smoke Sable and a finishing tough of Laura Mercier Lip Glace in Bare Blush.
