Lady Gaga paid tribute to David Bowie at the 2016 Grammy Awards by emulating one of the late singer’s most famous looks! Wearing an orange wig and pastel blue eyeshadow, Lady Gaga’s Grammys hair and makeup was the most dramatic of the night!
Lady Gaga, 29, definitely had the most noteworthy beauty look of the night when she attended the 58th Annual Grammy Awards on February 15. Channeling David Bowie, who died earlier this year, Lady Gaga decided to copy his orange hair and blue eyeshadow look from his “Life On Mars?” music video.
Putting her own spin on Bowie’s original look, which included an orange mullet and pastel blue eyeshadow to match his suit, Gaga opted for a waist-length bright orange hairstyle that was brushed back off of her face. Gaga also added a ton of sparkle to her eyeshadow look by applying rhinestones along her upper lash line and at the outer corners of her eyes and brows.
Sarah Tanno created Gaga’s makeup look, using Sephora Collection products to create her blue and rhinestone embellished makeup. For her hair, Gaga turned to her go-to stylist, Frederic Aspiras, who used L’Anza Healing Haircare products to get the look just right. To get the volume at the front, he applied L’Anza Healing Style Polyester at the top of her hair for volume, texture and shine. After blowing her hair out with more volume and adding soft curls, Frederic tamed flyaways with L’Anza Healing Style Sculpt Dry Clay and set the look with L’Anza Keratin Healing Oil Lustrous Finishing Spray.

Before the show, Lady Gaga shared an up-close Instagram clip of herself being prepped for the show as the blue shadow was applied. Gaga captioned the clip: “The world loves you David.” And, earlier this week, Lady Gaga, who gave a tribute performance to the icon at the Grammys, revealed a tattoo of her idol on her side.
