The romantic hairstyles seen at The Brock Collection’s Fall 2016 show were perfect for a wedding or your next date night. Find out how to get the look below!
The Brock Collection is designed by a husband and wife duo, and their very first runway collection, for Fall 2016 during New York Fashion Week, was designed to be whimsical and romantic. Likewise, the hair had to be girly and pretty. It was stunning and it’s actually easy to copy!
Here’s how lead hairstylist James Pecis created the look.
“It was a look pretty enough for a royal. Hair was blown to a full, voluminous dry, fluffy to the touch. Following the smooth blowout, curls were added to strands and finger brushed through. Once the base of the look was created, James pulled inch thick strands from each ear and created a knot at the center of the head, following the hair downwards and weaving the strands into a braid, leaving about 3 inches from the bottom.
Strands were secured with a tiny hair band. James then loosened the look by pulling small stands out to frame and flow around the face. The end result was ethereal, with a brocade barrette to match.”

The key to this look, and any gorgeous look for bridal, means lots of thick, shiny, healthy hair. The whimsical romance needed relies on long, gorgeous locks. James has trusted Viviscal supplements for years, saying, “it’s the only supplement that works!” He has all of his clients and models take Viviscal to get a beautiful and healthy mane fit for the runway and real life.
According to the brand, “Viviscal Extra Strength offers thinning, dry and dull hair a much-needed oomph of volume, imparting a lustrous shine and softer touch. Not only does Viviscal makeover the appearance of the hair, but the overall health improves, elasticity increases and the density of each strand is thicker and longer.”
Many celeb hairstylists (like Ted Gibson and Oscar Blandi) and celebrities like Gwyneth Paltrow and Naomi Watts love Viviscal for thick, shiny hair, too!
