They’ve got ‘Bad Blood’ but that doesn’t mean they can’t work it out. Calvin Harris is telling girlfriend Taylor Swift to settle their differences away from prying eyes, not at the Grammy Awards, HollywoodLife.com has EXCLUSIVELY learned. Click here for the full details.
Don’t do it! Calvin Harris, 32, is urging Taylor Swift, 26, not take her beef with Kanye West, 38, to the Grammy Awards, and instead handle their feud privately, HollywoodLife.com has EXCLUSIVELY learned. The superstar DJ insists Taylor should just “Shake It Off” by calling him on the phone and straightening things out.
Taylor’s feud with Kanye was insanely reopened when he premiered his latest song, “Famous” at his Yeezy Season 3 launch at NY Fashion week on Feb. 11. The track, taken from his “The Life of Pablo” album, featured a controversial lyric about Kanye wanting to sleep with Taylor. Kanye moved to quash the controversy in ANOTHER Twitter rant saying he didn’t diss her, and cleared it with her before using the rap. But Taylor’s rep denied she was OK with it, and now Calvin is offering his advise.
“Calvin thinks that Taylor should handle ending her feud with Kanye privately and not in a public setting like the Grammy Awards,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “He’s suggested she should talk it through over the phone and tell Kanye exactly how she feels about what he said in his lyrics. But she should’t pander to Kanye’s ego. He believes she needs to tell him straight that he was wrong for what he did.”
That sounds like the most sensible advice EVER. Surely, it would do good to clear the air, but we wonder if Kanye will ever back down and apologize? Either way, they have to talk it through because it’s no continuing the feud.
HollywoodLifers, do you think that Calvin is right to push Taylor into ending her feud with Kanye? What would you do? Sound off to us below!
