Has Katy Perry and Taylor Swift’s very public feud finally come to an end?! We’re not sure how T-Swizzle feels, but it seems like Katy’s ready to forgive and forget because she invited the ‘Out Of The Woods’ singer to her ‘Creators’ party on Feb. 13. Get all the details here!
Katy Perry just revealed she extended a major olive branch to her nemesis, Taylor Swift, by inviting her to her “Creators” party, which will take place on Saturday, Feb. 13. So is there bad blood in the past now? Here’s what we know.
Katy is co-hosting a private artists-only party on Saturday, instead of attending Monday’s Grammy Awards, she revealed to The New York Times. The event is being billed as, “An Evening to Celebrate the Creators,” and it’s sponsored by Spotify. Those on Katy’s 250 person guest list include both Taylor Swift and Adele. Will they attend? “It’s just up to their schedules,” Katy said.
In regards to the party, however, Katy further explained managers and publicists are not invited. “They are not creators,” Katy said. “They’re important to the creation, but it’s only artists, producers and songwriters. There’s a press opportunity in the front, like a red carpet, but if you want to be more low-key you can arrive via garage. I’m trying to keep it as pure as possible because in the eight years that I’ve been going to these things, I am just always so exhausted.”
And even though Katy has attended the last eight Grammy Awards, she’ll watch this year’s from the comfort of her own home. “In my pajamas, eating matzo ball soup,” she told the The New York Times. “No makeup, glad I’m not in a corset. Vicks cream on.”
