If you love the ‘Transformers’ movies then you will absolutely love this epic battle between two razors-turned-robots in Schick’s new Super Bowl ad. Click inside to WATCH!
Schick‘s Super Bowl 50 commercial might be one of the coolest out there so far!
The spot opens with two razor’s morphing, Transformers-style of course, into small robots. One of the razors is a Schick Hydro 5 and the other is just a regular old razor called “Lube Strip.” That’s when the battle begins! What makes this commercial so cool is all the slow motion jumping action done by the Hydro 5 razor. “Lube Strip” doesn’t protect men from irritation, so it unfortunately loses this battle. Hydro 5 wins!
This is actually Schick’s first Super Bowl commercial since 2007, so they had to make it epic, right? “We’re really excited to launch the new ‘Robot Razors’ TV spot for Schick Hydro during this year’s Super Bowl,” Charlie King, group marketing director for men’s systems at Edgewell, told Adweek. “It’s a great way to reach millions of guys who we think will be excited to check out the new and improved features of the Schick Hydro 5.”
The friendly competition in this ad will fit right into the spirit of Super Bowl 50! Schick should look into making a robot razor movie, don’t you think? Okay, maybe we won’t go that far — but Super Bowl viewers are going to love this commercial!
