The Johnny Manziel and Colleen Crowley drama just keeps getting worse. Johnny’s ex-girlfriend has now filed a protective order against the Cleveland Browns quarterback following an alleged assault on Jan. 31. We have the scoop, here.
Cleveland Browns QB Johnny Manziel, 23, has now had a restraining order filed against him by ex-girlfriend Colleen Crowley after cops were called following an argument that allegedly got violent on Jan. 31. We have all the details on the protective order, here.
The trouble just keeps growing for Johnny. His ex-girlfriend has now filed a protective order against him, reports TMZ. The police department of Texas Christian University where Colleen goes to school told TMZ they were notified that she officially has a protective order against the QB. WFAA in Dallas says a judge in Tarrant County judge ruled that “family violence” had occurred, making the order necessary.
A police report was released on Feb. 4 that outlined the argument for which the cops were called on Jan. 31 following a night out drinking and partying. In the report, it’s said that Colleen claims Johnny struck her several times, including on her left ear. It also said he threatened to kill her and himself.
However, Johnny was not arrested and cops said no legal action would be taken against him because then Colleen became increasingly uncooperative and refused to have her injuries photographed. Johnny himself has since denied that he ever hit Colleen, telling TMZ “it didn’t happen,” and that he was never suicidal, saying “I’m completely stable. I’m safe and secure.” Hopefully these two can smarten up and stay away from each other from now on, because only trouble comes from them hanging out.
